Fertility Treatments

We offer various specialised treatment solutions for infertility. They include:

  • In-Vitro Fertilisation(IVF) – this involves fertilising the sperm and egg(ovum) in the lab instead of in the woman’s womb. It involves the extraction of the eggs from the woman through the use of some drugs and minor surgery.
  • Intra Uterine Insemination(IUI) – this involves the insertion of sperm into the woman’s womb by using special equipment. It’s also known as Artificial Insemination(AI).

Other procedures involved with fertility treatment at the IVF centre include:

  • Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) – is a procedure that involves the injection of sperm into the ova(egg) for fertilisation in case the sperm cannot swim and penetrate the egg.
  • Ovulation Induction – A simple treatment that uses medication to help stimulate your hormones and encourage ovulation.
  • Ovulation Cycle Tracking – A simple process that can help you identify which days you’re most fertile to give you the best chance of conceiving naturally.
  • Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) – Any additional embryos created from an IVF cycle can be frozen and stored for future use. These embryos can then be thawed and transferred if more than one treatment cycle is needed.
  • Fertility Surgery – After an initial assessment your fertility specialist may recommend surgery, either to investigate the cause of infertility or to treat problems that are making it difficult for you to conceive.
